The Tamil Nadu Polymer Industries Park (TN PIP), a transformative initiative aimed at establishing Tamil Nadu as a hub for polymer-based manufacturing, is nearing completion. Located in Panchalankurichi near Chennai, the park spans over 257 acres and is set to house a variety of industries involved in plastics, polymers, and associated sectors, catering to both domestic and global markets.
This state-of-the-art industrial park is designed to promote sustainable manufacturing practices and provide comprehensive infrastructure to support businesses across the automotive, packaging, medical devices, and construction materials sectors. “The Polymer Industries Park is a strategic project that will boost Tamil Nadu’s industrial competitiveness and contribute significantly to economic growth and employment generation,” said a senior official from the Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation (TIDCO).
The park has already attracted significant attention from major industry players, with commitments for investments exceeding ₹3,000 crore. It is poised to transform the polymer manufacturing landscape in India, enabling Tamil Nadu to compete on a global scale while driving sustainable and inclusive economic growth.
